Overview
This live-in Nanny Housekeeper role is with a family in West Brompton, London. The role involves keeping the home clean and well-organised while caring for two babies. Knowledge of Tagalog would be ideal. The family requires occasional travel to Europe for 3 to 4 weeks. A valid first aid qualification is essential. The position is full-time and permanent, with a start date around 19 September 2025.
Responsibilities
- Babysitting two days a week
- Assisting with nappy changes
- Bathing the children and maintaining proper hygiene
- Ensuring the children’s safety, well-being, and development
- Keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as park visits
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books with the children
- Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to promote structure and development
- Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen area
- Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
- Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
- Making beds and changing bed linen as needed
- Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Cooking would be a bonus
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid first aid qualification is essential
- Ability or willingness to travel with the family to Europe for 3 to 4 weeks
- Live-in role with accommodation to be confirmed
- Open to candidates who speak Tagalog; preference noted
