Job description

This busy family from Southwark, London, is seeking an After‑school Nanny to care for their toddler and school‑aged child. Someone who speaks French is a big bonus. The role involves all general nanny duties, including cooking for the children. It would be helpful if the nanny were able to batch cook, although this is not a must. A valid first aid qualification is required for this position.

Working hours: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Duties include:
  • Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children.
  • Ensuring the safety, well‑being, and development of the children.
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children.
  • Cooking just for the children; batch cooking is a plus but not required.
  • Keeping the children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy.
  • Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park.
  • Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children.
  • Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth.
  • Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development.
