A community health service provider in Bath is seeking an experienced Named Nurse for Children in Care. The role involves leading the Children in Care team, ensuring compliance with health support for children, and advising agencies on health matters. Ideal candidates will be Band 8a Registered Nurses with a strong trauma-informed approach. We are looking for an experienced, motivated and trauma‑informed Registered Nurse to take on the pivotal role of Named Nurse for Children in Care within our BSW 019 Service. This is a senior leadership post, responsible for leading the Children in Care team and ensuring we meet our contractual and statutory responsibilities to Children in Care across Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire.

Working closely with safeguarding colleagues and a range of partner agencies, you will champion best practice, drive high‑quality service delivery, and ensure that Children in Care receive coordinated, compassionate and effective health support.

As a Band 8a Named Nurse for Children in Care you will receive:
General Requirements Essential – Band 8a Registered Nurse with experience in Children in Care and a trauma‑informed approach. Band 7 experience considered desirable. Application will be screened against EEO statements; we welcome applications from a broad, diverse range of people.
