Overview

I am a 13-year-old boy living in St. George's Super-Ely. I am very sociable and likeable with a great sense of humour. I enjoy making people laugh. I like using eye contact when communicating with someone. I have had some difficulties in the past with communication but this has improved a lot.

I love swimming, singing and dancing but have no sense of danger so I need constant supervision in case I run off into a dangerous situation.

Responsibilities

• You must be willing to cover any annual leave and sickness for my other PA.
• A vigilant person to keep an eye on my safety at all times.
• Someone who enjoys doing fun activities and getting involved.
• Someone who is active and enjoys being outdoors.
• You must be able to swim and participate in swimming with me.
• Someone who wants to bring out the best in me.
• A driver with access to a car.

Compensation and Terms

• £12.35 per hour.
• Any overnights worked are paid at £12.00 per hour. They are sleeping nights.
• 40p mileage allowance.
• Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted.
• A trial period of six months will be necessary in the first instance.
• The wage will be paid four-weekly on return of a payslip provided by the Centre for Independent Living.
• You will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro rata).
