We are currently seeking a reliable and technically capable Multiskilled / Multitrade Engineer to carry out a range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks across a portfolio of commercial properties.

This mobile role is ideal for a hands‑on engineer with experience across trades, particularly in electrical fault‑finding, plumbing repairs, and compliance checks such as emergency lighting tests, fire door inspections, and general life safety systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance tasks across commercial sites.
• Undertake minor electrical work such as lighting repairs, fuse/spur changes, and fault diagnosis.
• Perform basic to intermediate plumbing tasks including tap replacements, unblocking, leak repairs, and pipework fixes.
• Conduct routine compliance checks - including emergency lighting tests, fire alarm tests, fire door inspections, and water temperature checks (L8).
• Complete remedial works following compliance or inspection reports.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health & safety guidelines and statutory requirements.
• Use mobile devices or job sheets to accurately record work completed and report issues.
• Maintain good communication with site contacts and office support teams.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a multiskilled or multi‑trade maintenance role, ideally within commercial or public sector buildings.
• Competence in basic electrical and plumbing tasks.
• Familiarity with building compliance checks (e.g., emergency lighting, fire doors, fire alarms).
• NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in a relevant trade (electrical/plumbing/building services) desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check (required for some sites).
