About The Role

As a Multi Trade Operative, you will be an essential part of the team, working on a variety of tasks from carpentry to plumbing and tiling. You will operate across multiple sites, ensuring high-quality workmanship is delivered efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering and decorating tasks
  • Complete work to a high standard, adhering to all safety guidelines
  • Operate independently and manage time effectively across multiple job sites
  • Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and colleagues
  • Use company‑provided van to travel to and from sites and work
What will you be doing?
  • Completing a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks within empty and occupied homes such as carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, bricklaying and decorating to a high standard and in line with Council standards and specification whilst delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Using an electronic personal digital assistant device to receive and record work
  • Maintaining appropriate van stock and ensuring orders are placed with in‑house stores team and comply with the specifications.
  • Use initiative to complete tasks where appropriate.
About You
  • Proven experience in multiple trade disciplines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A polite and approachable manner.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
  • A valid UK driving license.
  • A ‘can‑do’ attitude and self‑motivation.
  • Qualified to an NVQ level 2 in at least 1 core trade or by at least 2 years on‑site experience.
  • Experience working in residential maintenance and repairs works environment would be very advantageous.
