Multi Skills Technician

College location: East Surrey College (Redhill)

Salary: £26,712

Hours: Full time (37 hours/week)

We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and talented Multi-Skills Technician with speciality in Brick, Painting & Decorating and carpentry as a specialism to join our friendly and professional Construction team.

This post would suit an individual who has achieved their own qualifications in Brick, Painting & Decorating or carpentry or who has a background in the industry and understands the basic principles. Candidates will be enthusiastic, self-motivated with excellent communication skills, and with a committed approach to your work you will maintain a high quality learning environment for our learners.

Based in the Construction area of our Technology department this exciting post will involve supporting students in their learning of practical skills in the workshops, supervising and maintaining workshops ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. You will also be responsible for ordering stock, maintaining a stock of consumables and preparing materials for student activities as well as the cleaning and maintenance of the equipment.
