About the Role

Are you looking for an apprenticeship in the NHS? We have a vacancy for a Multi‑Skilled Trainee – Estates Department. This apprenticeship will support you in assisting the Estates Senior Operations Manager and managing your own workload while learning to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

The role involves maintaining and repairing installations, plant and equipment, including minor plumbing, mechanical and electrical tasks, and assisting building trades where appropriate. Throughout the 3‑year apprenticeship you will progress to the Level 2 Property Maintenance Operative qualification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Estates Senior Operations Manager in day‑to‑day operations.
  • Perform maintenance and repair tasks across the hospital estate.
  • Collaborate with building trades and other teams to resolve plant and equipment issues.
  • Manage your workload and learn effective time‑management within a high‑pressure setting.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High‑school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for technical work and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
