Job summary

A reputable construction firm in Manchester is seeking plasterers/Multi Skilled Operatives to perform disrepair works on tenanted properties. The role involves plastering and handling damp issues, with responsibilities including removal of old plaster and installation of tanking systems. Candidates must have an NVQ in Plastering, a CSCS card, and their own tools. Additional training courses will be required before starting the position.

Qualifications

• MUST BE WILLING TO CARRY OUT THREE COURSES BEFORE START DATE.
• Experience in handling damp and mould.
• Ability to perform plastering and other minor trades.

Job description

Our client is a Multi-disciplined construction company based in Liverpool. They specialise in a number of different sectors across the Country.

Within their Social Housing sector, they are looking for plasterers/Multi Skilled Operatives to complete disrepair works on properties located in the Manchester area. Operatives need to have worked with damp and mould; duties will predominately be removing old plaster, installing DPC (tanking system), boarding and plastering walls and ceilings.

Job role

• Carry out Plastering work as well as other trades on tenanted properties
• Work a 39 hour week

To be considered for the role

• An NVQ or equivalent in Plastering
• Have a CSCS card
• Own transport and tools
