Job summary

A recruitment agency is looking for experienced Plasterers in the Barnstaple area to join a Multi-Skilled Operatives team. Ideal candidates should have a City & Guilds Level 2 Qualification in plastering, a recognised apprenticeship, and experience in delivering high levels of customer service. This permanent role offers a salary of up to £31,464.72 per annum, along with a benefits package including 27 days holiday, pension contributions, and health support. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

Role: Multi Skilled Operative – Plasterers

Contract: Permanent - full time

Location: Barnstaple and surrounding areas

Hours: 37 hours

Salary: Up to £31,464.72 per annum depending on experience - plus benefits

The Role

Are you an experienced plasterer looking to make a difference within the North Devon community? North Devon Homes is seeking Plasterers to join our Multi-Skilled Operatives within our Response & Void team. You’ll deliver high-quality improvement, repair, and installation activities, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out a full range of duties, including plastering, rendering, internal wall insulation, and damp-proofing.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, subcontractors, and customers to deliver an efficient, customer-focused repairs service.
  • Maintain excellent service standards and represent North Devon Homes professionally.
  • Support continuous improvement and promote our values and culture.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety legislation and operational protocols.
  • Manage van stock and issued equipment effectively.
  • Participate in out-of-hours service provision when required.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Completion of a recognised plastering apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  • City & Guilds Level 2 Qualification in plastering or similar.
  • Full, valid UK driving licence.
  • Strong knowledge of construction activities and Health & Safety legislation.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
