A housing association in the UK is seeking a Multi Skilled Operative with expertise in carpentry and plumbing. The successful candidate will work throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk, delivering high-quality repairs in occupied and empty homes. They will be responsible for a range of skills including tiling and plastering and will have opportunities for progression and training. A full UK driving licence and experience in property maintenance are essential for this permanent role.
Based in Norwich, but travel throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk will be required. Full time (40 hours per week) – Monday to Friday.
Starting Salary of £32,505 with progression opportunities to £36,051 per annum depending on skills and experience, plus company vehicle and additional earning opportunities through call out. Permanent Contract.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Operative, with a main trade of Carpentry/Plumbing, to join our Planned Works Team. This role will help deliver an effective and efficient service to our residents, working on occupied and empty homes to deliver our planned works programme, including Kitchen and Bathroom upgrades and Aids and Adaptations. You will ensure that works are carried out in a timely manner and to a high standard of workmanship to our properties. This plays a key role in providing an excellent service to our residents, so if you want to help make a difference to our residents, this may be the job for you!
