Position: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer | Location: Cornwall (commutable from Bodmin, Truro, Newquay, St Austell, Looe, Lostwithiel and surrounding areas) | Shift: Monday - Friday | Salary: £45,000 - £47,000


The Opportunity

Due to growth within the business an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a rapidly growing, well-established manufacturing site. You'll be part of a friendly, experienced engineering team supporting production across high-volume processing operations.


The Role

Working on a double day shift, you'll be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement across a range of modern manufacturing equipment.


Key Responsibilities


  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical & mechanical maintenance on production machinery

  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults on automated and semi-automated equipment

  • Work with PLCs, sensors, motors, and control panels

  • Support continuous improvement and efficiency projects

  • Ensure all work complies with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards

  • Accurately complete maintenance records and documentation

  • Background in FLO manufacturing (food ideal, but not essential)
