Overview

Electromechanical Fitter / Installer

Location: Near Cheltenham/Tewkesbury — must live within a commutable distance (own transport required)

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £31,200 - £36,400 per year (depending on skills and experience) + overtime at 1.5x basic rate

Responsibilities

• Mechanical assembly, fitting, and installation of automation machinery and systems
• Electrical wiring support (training provided if required)
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Occasional UK and international travel (approx. 30-40% of the role)
• Maintaining high standards of quality and safety at all times

Essential Experience & Skills

• 3+ years' experience assembling and installing industrial machinery/conveyors
• Skilled with hand tools and power tools
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and method statements
• Strong mechanical knowledge (electrical experience is a bonus or willingness to learn quickly)
• Confident, flexible traveller - must be able to spend up to 2 weeks away at a time, including trips to USA/Canada
• Full UK driving licence (max. 3 points)
• No criminal convictions that prevent overseas travel
• Must hold a UK or EU passport
