We’re working with a Nottingham‑based organisation operating across facilities and event spaces, providing vital support to keep operations running smoothly and safely. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are ever the same — perfect for someone who enjoys practical problem‑solving and taking pride in the quality of their work.

About the Role

As a Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias), you’ll be part of a professional facilities and maintenance team responsible for ensuring all systems and equipment perform safely and efficiently. You’ll carry out planned and reactive maintenance, support electrical installations, and play a hands‑on role in preparing for and supporting large‑scale activities and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, test, and repair electrical systems, ensuring full compliance with statutory and site safety standards.
  • Support the setup and delivery of live events, including load‑ins, power distribution, and temporary electrical installations.
  • Carry out general PPM and reactive maintenance tasks (both electrical and non‑electrical).
  • Provide technical assistance across event operations, including sports fixtures and live performances.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance building performance, presentation, and safety.
About You
  • Apprentice‑trained or NVQ Level 3 qualified in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Hold 17th or 18th Edition certification.
  • Ideally experienced in a multi‑discipline maintenance, facilities, commercial maintenance or venue environment.
  • Confident communicator with a proactive and hands‑on approach to teamwork.
  • Flexible and reliable — comfortable working some evenings, weekends, and bank holidays to support event schedules.
  • Physically fit and able to undertake manual tasks.
  • Knowledge of A/V systems, BMS operation, or team supervision would be advantageous.
What’s on Offer
  • £40,800 annual salary
  • 25 days’ annual leave (plus bank holidays)
  • Complimentary access to selected events
  • Free leisure access for you, your family, and friends
  • On‑site parking (non‑event days, approx. £30/month)
  • Travel‑to‑work schemes (tram, bus, train & cycle)
  • Be part of a passionate facilities team delivering exceptional experiences every day

Alongside a supportive working environment, you’ll benefit from a package that includes wellbeing support, access to Mental Health First Aiders, pension contributions, workplace parking, Cycle to Work options, staff discounts, and the ability to purchase additional annual leave.

If you’re an electrically biased Multi Skilled Engineer who enjoys variety, problem‑solving, and working in an environment where every day brings something new — we’d love to hear from you.
