A healthcare provider in Arundel is seeking a part-time HCPC registered Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join their innovative team. In this role, you will assess and treat various MSK pathologies while benefiting from a supportive learning environment with no weekend work. The position offers career development opportunities and a focus on work-life balance.
Are you an experienced HCPC registered Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist looking for a new or additional role? Have you ever thought about working within a prison environment, helping to rehabilitate and support offenders to live purposeful lives as a member of the community?
If you are looking for a role where you can develop your existing skills and learn something new every day, then this is the place to be. We believe in a good work-life balance, so there is no on-call or weekend work.
This role is part-time, working 24 hours a month (3 days a month) at HMP Ford for approximately 3 years.
You will be responsible for assessing and treating a range of MSK pathologies, including some complex and/or chronic presentations. You will need to demonstrate advanced MSK diagnostic and treatment skills, work within the MDT, and maintain records as an autonomous practitioner.
This is your opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking, innovative healthcare team, including GPs, nurses, pharmacists, podiatrists, and mental health professionals, delivering high-quality, best-practice treatment. You will also be part of the wider MSK Health in Justice Team, comprising physiotherapists and podiatrists working across immigration centres and prisons nationwide.
Main duties of the role
You will be closely supported and mentored by our Clinical Lead. Our well-developed appraisal system, in-service training, and funding for external clinical courses will provide an excellent supportive learning environment for your professional development.
Applicants should have proven post-registration experience in assessing and treating MSK conditions in outpatient settings, with excellent communication and organizational skills, and a willingness to learn and develop further.
