Job Overview

This is an opportunity for an aspiring MSK Physiotherapist to join the integrated musculoskeletal service offering assessment and treatment to patients within Mid Nottinghamshire. As part of the Community Health Services Division in Nottinghamshire Healthcare we provide musculoskeletal services working within the Mid Nottinghamshire Alliance MSK pathway, MSK Together. This consists of collaborative working with our primary care colleagues, first contact practitioners, triage team and secondary care colleagues. The MSK Physiotherapy service has strong links with local pain services, secondary care orthopaedics and the specialist spinal unit at Nottingham University Hospital Trust.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high‑quality, patient‑focused physiotherapy interventions to all service users as part of the Musculoskeletal Therapy Team.
  • Collaborate with First Contact Practitioner Physiotherapists in Primary Care Networks to offer clinical management of a wide variety of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Provide care through a variety of platforms – face‑to‑face, virtual, one‑to‑one and group settings, including existing and future group sessions such as ESCAPE pain.
  • Participate in service transformation initiatives and contribute to the development of the rehabilitation offer.
Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes in the NHS environment.
  • Readiness to work as an excellent team member, self‑motivated and able to deliver evidence‑based MSK physiotherapy services in a friendly and supportive environment.
