MRICS Building Surveyor - Kent - home working - Associate Director or Director level (non‑managerial responsibilities) – circa £70,000 to £80,000 + bonus

Leading City based independent Chartered Surveying practice. Established around 2015, they have grown to a team of around eighteen. The environment is supportive with flexibility and minimal micro‑management.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct building surveys and related duties in line with reporting standards, with emphasis on accuracy and technical detail over high output volume.
  • Work may include dilapidations, expert witness work, and defect reports; workload can be tailored to experience and preferences.
  • Typical workload: approximately one building survey per day, with potential for two on busier periods depending on agreed workload and location.
  • Maintain high quality client service in a dynamic, client‑facing environment.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • MRICS Chartered status (Building Surveying).
  • Demonstrated diligence in reporting, strong knowledge of building pathology, measurement and schedule of works.
  • Ability to prioritize accuracy and detail while maintaining professional standards.

  • Basic salary: £70,500 – £90,000 (depending on experience)
