Job description

We are looking for an MP&L Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics operations, including warehousing, inventory, transportation, and supply chain processes, while ensuring safety, performance, and continuous improvement across the department.

Your Responsibilities
  • Ensure full responsibility for Health, Safety, and Environmental matters during the shift, including safety incident investigations and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Promote safe working practices, particularly around Material Handling Equipment (MHE), and ensure compliance with site H&S procedures by employees and external contract drivers.
  • Ensure inbound deliveries are received and unloaded according to schedule, achieving internal KPIs through effective resource allocation.
  • Coach Team Leaders in managing day-to-day operations in line with business objectives and performance targets.
  • Maintain and update team boards and operational documentation to reflect real-time performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Identify, implement, and follow up on corrective actions that impact departmental KPIs and overall operational performance.
  • Represent the department in internal and external customer meetings, communicating shift performance, issues, and priorities.
  • Manage manpower resources effectively to meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Apply company Absence Control Procedures to ensure maximum attendance and manage personnel issues on shift, including interaction with Trade Union representatives in line with company policies and collective agreements.
  • Develop, maintain, and audit Standard Work documentation to ensure process consistency and promote a zero-tolerance mindset for deviations.
  • Use WMS, SAP, and AOS systems effectively to support production and delivery performance aligned with customer requirements.
  • Identify training needs using the company training processes (training matrix, gap analysis) and ensure accurate training documentation and sign-off.
  • Drive departmental quality objectives, including PPS activities and Root Cause Analysis related to premium freight, scrap costs, and stock losses.
  • Support cross-functional activities such as engineering changes, production trials, model changes, and pilot builds.
Your Profile
  • Minimum high school diploma (graduation required).
  • At least 2 years of experience in team management within a production or logistics environment.
  • Good command of English (B2 level); Slovak language skills are an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, make sound decisions, and perform effectively under pressure.
    Solid understanding of operational procedures, documentation, and company policies.
  • Willingness to work in shifts.
  • Strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Collaborative, results‑oriented approach with strong critical thinking skills.
