Location: Cumbria
Shift allowance: applicable (approximately 12.5% uplift on top of basic salary)
Salary: Basic Salary: £31,049 to £37,796 per annum (AFC Band 5)
Position: 2 x experienced vehicle technicians to join the team at our Lancashire & Bury workshop facility
Responsibilities
- The role of NWAS Vehicle Technician is to ensure all Trust vehicles (Petrol / Diesel / Hybrid and EV) are serviced, repaired and maintained to the Trust and DVSA’s exacting standards.
- Carry out the skilled service and repair of specialist ambulance equipment as part of the role.
- Operate in a modern workshop environment with a focus on maximizing vehicle throughput and minimizing workshop delays, supported by a dedicated management team structure.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must hold a recognised apprenticeship (e.g. Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair) or equivalent experience along with NVQ or C&G Level 3 qualifications.
- Full UK driving licence is essential with full category C1 entitlement.
- Ability to work in a modern workshop environment and undertake CPD to develop current skill sets.
