Job description

We have a dedicated Plant and Transport division that services and maintains our fleet of vehicles and plant across the business, and we are currently looking for motor vehicle technicians to join our existing team.

The working hours are 07.30to 17 : 00Monday to Thursday and07 : 00to 16.30 on Friday.

Duties include but are not limited to :

  • Reporting direct to Plant & Transport lead and working closely with the Transport Foreman
  • Servicing, mechanical repairs and diagnostics of cars and light commercial vehicles from various manufacturers at our facility in Totton.
  • Attending sites for routine maintenance and repairs
  • Opportunities to develop skills on plant equipment

Applicants are expected to have a strong commitment to health & safety, ensuring that tasks are planned and executed safely and efficiently.

Required Skills / Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in vehicle maintenance repair
  • Or time served technician / mechanic with appropriate practical experience.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good written and spoken English
