Are you a skilled Motor Vehicle professional looking for a rewarding role where your expertise helps shape the next generation of automotive apprentices?

This leading College is seeking a reliable and detail‑focused EPA Technician and Exam Invigilator to join their growing Motor Vehicle and End Point Assessment team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring apprenticeship assessments run smoothly, securely and in line with regulatory standards-all while enjoying exceptional staff development, a strong team culture and meaningful work with future industry professionals.

You’ll work closely with the EPA Manager, Coordinator and curriculum teams, preparing assessment spaces, managing specialist tools and equipment, and supporting learners throughout their assessments. This is a role perfect for someone with a Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification who wants to apply their technical background in a new, structured and impactful setting.

The Role:

  • Work with the EPA Manager and Coordinator to plan and prepare for apprenticeship End Point Assessments.

  • Set up assessment areas, ensuring tools, equipment and resources are available and in full working order.

  • Support assessors by preparing, resetting and clearing assessment tasks throughout the day.

  • Maintain strict exam conditions, ensuring integrity, compliance and a calm assessment environment.

  • Complete all required documentation and maintain accurate assessment records.

  • Liaise with Motor Vehicle curriculum teams to organise specialist resources.

  • Carry out stock checks and return equipment after each assessment cycle.

  • Provide support in other construction/EPA areas where appropriate.

  • Uphold all safeguarding, equality, health & safety and sustainability standards.
The Person:

  • Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification (essential).

  • Full driving licence (essential).

  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Confident following structured procedures and maintaining secure assessment conditions.

  • Team‑focused, with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

  • Reliable, professional and committed to upholding confidentiality and integrity.

  • Able to travel between campuses as required.

  • Willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
