A leading communications firm is seeking a Motion Graphics Designer to develop compelling animated content for social issues. This role involves creating innovative motion graphics, generating ideas in team brainstorms, and ensuring content is optimized for various social platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong design skills, experience in motion graphics, and fluency in Romanian and English. This position is based in London with flexible remote options for EU candidates.
For over fifteen years, Zinc Network has been helping governments and businesses navigate the world's most complex challenges using communications, technology, and behavioural science. We work on some of the toughest briefs: protecting children online, strengthening democratic resilience, and championing purpose-driven technologies and organisations.
Working in partnership with a global network of media outlets, communities, and influencers, we help clients understand complex issues, design and deliver behavioural interventions, create compelling campaigns, activate trusted grassroots networks, and evaluate impact.
We’re now building Kora — our AI‑powered platform that systematises this expertise into scalable technology, enabling clients to work faster, more impactfully, and more cost‑effectively.
We’re looking for people who want to operate at the intersection of geopolitics, security, and technological disruption, and who are committed to building a safer, more secure world.
We are looking for a Motion Graphics Designer to join our team, helping to create work that makes a real difference on social issues.
The Motion Graphics Designer will be a hands‑on creative thinker and will take responsibility for developing and creating engaging, innovative animated content.
Preferably based in London, you will be full of ideas about how to turn a brief into engaging and visually appealing motion graphics assets. You’ll have excellent design skills, and will be as comfortable working with Adobe Creative Suite as you are with Canva. Ideally you’ll also be willing and able to create other (non‑motion) design assets as needed.
You’ll need to have a grasp of what creative content works well across social platforms. You’ll be on top of the latest digital trends and developments, ensuring that your content is ahead of the game.
Crucially, the way in which you interpret a brief must include standalone thinking for each of the platforms and placements so that content always feels native and unique to each channel and its audience.
You will have experience of making a wide range of motion graphics and animated content from start to finish.
You will speak Romanian, and you’ll also need excellent spoken and written English.
