Modern Foreign Languages Teacher

Job Title: Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher
Location: Enfield, North London
Contract: Full-time / Permanent (part-time considered)
Start Date: ASAP - October 2025
Salary: £140 - £240 per day

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic MFL Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5. The ideal candidate will be able to teach French and/or Spanish to GCSE level, inspiring students to develop a passion for languages and equipping them with the skills to succeed as confident, global learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Assess, track, and monitor student progress, providing effective feedback.
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour.
  • Contribute to departmental planning, enrichment, and wider school life.
  • Support students of all abilities to achieve their potential.
Person Specification
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) and a degree in a relevant subject.
  • Strong subject knowledge in French and/or Spanish.
  • A commitment to high expectations and raising attainment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
