Our Model Risk Oversight team plays an important part in our business. The team is responsible for the oversight of risk and financial models. This includes the independent validation of our most important models, including IRB, IFRS9 and Treasury models, to a standard that meets internal and regulatory expectations. The role requires you to lead the statistical testing of the models and report on the technical findings in a clear and transparent way.
How you\'ll make a difference
Leading a small team of people, you will be responsible for effectively leading the validation of the components of Credit & Financial Risk models, following our internal framework and standards as well as external regulation. You will produce internal and external reports summarising the validations, highlighting areas for potential improvement. You will support senior management in their interactions across the business and externally. You will be able to influence, and build relationships with, a range of stakeholders from within Risk and the wider TSB Business. The role is about working collaboratively to support a strong culture of accountability, empowerment and proactive contribution to the ongoing development of the function, reflecting the evolving modelling landscape within the bank and the associated regulatory expectations.
