Qualifications

• Previous experience working at single and Three phase AC Electrics, ideally in the hire industry.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams.
• Understanding of basic engine communication systems (CAN bus and MOD bus).
• Willingness to travel and occasionally stay overnight.

Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance, and management of telemetry systems.
• Provide a quality service in the Northern territories.
• Lead synergy between engineering functions using telemetry.
• Conduct ongoing quality control of telemetry devices.
• Create and maintain a telemetry installation guide.
• Provide telemetry training as required.

Skills

Ability to write technical reports

Mobile Telemetry Engineer - Tamworth

Monday to Friday 07:00 – 17:00 pm, 42 hours a week

Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance, and management, of telemetry installation on Speedy assets
• To provide a quality service, product and control mechanism in the Northern Speedy territories
• To lead the synergy between all the Speedy Categories and engineering functions who adopt and use telemetry
• Ongoing quality control of telemetry devices fixed to Speedy assets
• Creation and maintenance of a telemetry installation guide
• Development and continuous adaptation of training material and practical sessions for Speedy engineers
• Provision of telemetry training to others, as required
• Liaison with others in the Speedy team to ensure availability in the network
• Development and maintenance of collaborative key relationships across divisions
• Assisting in development of Standard Operating Procedure
• Customer facing activities as required

What you’ll need

• Full driving licence
• Previous experience working at single and Three phase AC Electrics, ideally gained within the hire industry or similar engineering field (Preferred)
• 12vdc and 24 vdc Electrics fault finding and ability to read wiring diagrams
• An understanding of basic engine communication systems (CAN bus and MOD bus)
• Proficient computer skills, use of telemetry platforms
• Ability to write technical reports
• Able to work under pressure and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel and occasionally stay overnight when required
• Ability to support your business unit / team to deliver our ESG Strategy
