Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer

Job Title: Mobile Multiskilled Engineer (Plumbing Bias)
Location: Kent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with a 1 in 5 call out rota
Salary: £41,000 to £43,000

About the Role

Equans is looking for a Mobile Multiskilled Engineer with a strong plumbing background to support planned and reactive maintenance across sites in Kent. The role focuses on plumbing system maintenance, fault finding and general mechanical tasks, alongside Legionella control, safety checks and emergency support. You will work independently across multiple sites, ensuring high standards of safety, compliance and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver planned and reactive plumbing maintenance and repairs
  • Diagnose and resolve plumbing and mechanical faults
  • Carry out Legionella monitoring, flushing, tap temps and associated tasks
  • Maintain accurate CAFM updates, logbooks and compliance documentation
  • Support and monitor subcontractors where required
  • Maintain plant rooms and equipment to a high standard
  • Participate in the out of hours call out rota
Required Experience and Skills
  • Strong plumbing background with proven maintenance and fault-finding experience
  • Good understanding of mechanical building services
  • Ability to work independently and communicate professionally with clients
  • Strong awareness of safety and compliance standards
  • Full driving licence
Desirable Qualifications
  • BTEC Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC
