£40,000 per annum

Overview

An established and growing building services company is seeking a Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to join their regional team. This is a field-based role covering commercial sites across Leeds and Manchester. The role offers a good level of autonomy, a varied working environment, and the opportunity to be part of a smaller, more personal team where engineers are truly valued.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial buildings
  2. Fault finding, testing and inspection, and general electrical repairs on lighting, power, emergency systems, and distribution boards
  3. Support with mechanical systems (e.g., HVAC, pumps, motors) and general building fabric maintenance (e.g., doors, basic plumbing, tiling, and patch repairs)
  4. Complete service and maintenance documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  5. Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with health & safety guidelines
  6. Liaise with site contacts and represent the company professionally
Qualifications
  • City & Guilds in Electrical Installation (any edition considered) - further qualifications can be supported
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Building Services preferred
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in one role - stable work history is essential
  • Experience working in commercial environments (e.g., offices, retail, hospitality, or public buildings)
