Qualifications

  • Proven ability in planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
  • Experience with basic maintenance of AHUs, FCUs, and plumbing.
  • Competent in performing general PPMs including emergency lighting tests.

  • Conduct planned and reactive electrical maintenance across various sites.
  • Perform emergency lighting and fire alarm tests.
  • Travel between sites using a company van.

Mobile Maintenance Electrician

Location: Swindon, Bristol, Taunton, Bridgwater

Salary: Up to £43,000 + Van + Outstanding Benefits

We're looking for a Mobile Maintenance Electrician to cover schools, offices, and light commercial sites across the South West. This role offers stability, variety, and a benefits package that's hard to beat.

What you'll do:
  • Planned & reactive electrical maintenance
  • Basic maintenance of AHUs, FCUs, plumbing
  • General PPMs (tap temps, emergency lighting, fire alarm tests)
  • Travel between sites in a company van (first & last 30 mins in own time)
  • Optional overtime (x1.5 weekdays, x2 weekends)
  • Call-out rota (1 in 8) with £100 standby allowance
What we're looking for:
  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Multi‑skilled approach and commercial experience
  • Full UK driving licence
