Overview

MMA Welders Wanted - Long-Term Marine Project.

We are working with a leading Marine Engineering company on a major refit project and are looking for skilled NVQ Level 3 / Apprenticeship-qualified MMA Welders to join the team at their site in Plymouth.

Start ASAP (pending security clearance). Full SC Clearance required - must be British.

Responsibilities

• Perform MMA welding tasks to project specifications on a marine/heavy industry environment.
• Adhere to safety standards and maintain high quality and attention to detail.
• Work as part of a team in a proactive, communicative manner.

Qualifications & Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or Apprenticeship-qualified MMA Welder.
• Strong background in MMA welding (marine or heavy industry experience).
• Ability to pass weld tests (12mm & 25mm plates - various positions).
• Current or prior coding in MMA welding.
• Accommodation included for the project duration.
• Project location: Devon (site in Plymouth).
• Weld test is required; ongoing project with an expectation of continued work.
• Basic 50 hours per week with overtime available.
• Security clearance before start date; full SC clearance required; must be British.
