Location, Contract & Hours
  • Location: Wednesbury
  • Contract: Ongoing
  • Hours:
    • Mon-Thurs: 07:00 – 16:00
    • Fri: 07:00 – 13:00
  • £13.00 per hour base rate
  • + £1.00 p/h Attendance Bonus (awarded for completing 40 hours per week)
  • + £1.00 p/h Production Bonus (based on meeting daily productivity targets)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator to join a specialist engineering team. The role involves producing bespoke, non-standard tarmac containers, offering variety beyond standard haulage container fabrication.

Key Responsibilities of a Mig Welder

  • MIG welding and fabrication of tarmac containers
  • Assembling and fitting components following drawings and instructions
  • Working to daily production targets
  • Maintaining high-quality workmanship
  • Adhering to health & safety guidelines at all times
