Diversity and Inclusion

We want to attract the widest range of people and ensure they are accepted, understood and treated equally when they work here. This means we will work hard to understand that each employee is unique and ensuring that individuals or groups are not treated differently or less favourably on the basis of specific characteristics. Such characteristics include (but are not limited to) age, disability, gender including transgender, race, religion, sexual orientation, marital status, and how the school supports pregnant women and new parents.

"When I stepped into Avanti Park, the first thing I noticed was that they don't just talk about valuing the whole child. It's evidenced by discussions around spirituality within lessons and PSHE, its lived through assemblies, conversations with children and yoga lessons that help children focus on what's important to them. All of this tied together showed me it's not just a sound bite that we care about the whole child; it's about giving them the tools to embody that daily," - Simon Goldsworthy, Key Stage 2 Lead.
