Job Title: Midday Assistant - Term Time Only

Location: Wirral

Hours: Monday to Friday, 1.5 hours per day (Term Time Only)

Contract Type: Part-Time, Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

Are you looking for a rewarding part-time role during school hours? We're seeking a reliable and proactive Midday Assistant to join our team and help supervise students during lunchtime, ensuring a safe, orderly, and friendly environment throughout the school grounds.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to play a vital role in the school day.

Main Purpose of the Role
  • Supervise and ensure the safety and wellbeing of students during lunch breaks
  • Monitor behaviour and reinforce school behaviour policies in indoor and outdoor areas
  • Support a calm, respectful, and clean lunchtime environment
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise students in dining areas, corridors, and outside in the school yard
  • Maintain discipline and ensure orderly queuing and behaviour while eating
  • Encourage students to dispose of litter appropriately
  • Pick up litter to maintain a tidy and safe site
  • Report any incidents or concerns to teaching staff promptly
  • Support the school's policies on behaviour, health & safety, and safeguarding
