Description

What the Role Is For:

  • You will be responsible for influencing and executing the Nasstar Microsoft Business Division marketing strategy in addition to influencing and executing the partner marketing strategy, and co-marketing programs including strategic alliances with the likes of Microsoft to support Nasstar’s ambitions and growth.
  • You’ll input into strategic planning and will be responsible for the management, delivery, and measurement of Nasstar’s marketing initiatives across key distribution groups, including customers, prospects, partners and Nasstar employees.
  • You will concentrate on driving growth and positioning Nasstar as a specialist cloud, modern workplace and AI organisation through lead generation activities and effective messaging to the market.
  • You will act as a dedicated brand champion for Nasstar’s Microsoft Business Division with a strong focus on go to market strategy and new logo growth.

What Success Looks Like:

Stakeholder Relationship Management: Building strong relationships with internal teams, partners like Microsoft, and key customers is essential. Positive collaboration will lead to successful co-marketing initiatives and high partner satisfaction.

Strategic Contribution and Execution: You play a key role in shaping and executing the marketing strategy, working closely with the Nasstar commercial team to deliver on priority topics such as cyber security, data and AI. Your efforts ensure marketing activities are aligned with Nasstar business goals and drive measurable impact to leads and revenue.

Effective Campaign Delivery: Success means delivering integrated marketing campaigns on time and meeting agreed lead generation or engagement targets. You’ll track campaign performance, report results, and use insights to drive continuous improvement.

Management of MDF: Your marketing activities will support pipeline growth and contribute to new business wins. Effective use of the Marketing Development Fund (MDF) and compliance with vendor requirements will be key indicators of commercial impact.

Sales and Partner Team Enablement: You take ownership of marketing activities linked with both Nasstar and strategic partner relationships, ensuring that sales teams – internally and at partner organisations – are equipped and motivated to drive joint success.

Increase Nasstar Awareness: Position Nasstar subject matter expert content and initiatives within the market to ensure visibility. This includes communication programs and vehicles to message key wins, industry strategy, events and blogs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Planning and Execution of Integrated Marketing Campaigns

  • Develop and launch multi-channel campaigns targeting key audiences
  • Coordinate campaign timelines and deliverables with internal teams
  • Monitor campaign progress and adjust tactics for optimal results

Report on Campaign Performance and Recommend Improvements

  • Track and analyse campaign metrics (e.g., leads, engagement, ROI)
  • Present regular performance updates to stakeholders
  • Identify areas for improvement and propose actionable changes

Manage the Marketing Budget and Track ROI

  • Allocate budget across campaigns and initiatives
  • Monitor spend and ensure alignment with approved budgets
  • Evaluate ROI and adjust spend to maximise impact

Oversee Microsoft Specific Marketing Asset Creation and Ensure Alignment with Brand Guidelines

  • Brief, review and edit assets from internal and external contributors
  • Ensure all materials meet Nasstar (and Microsoft – where applicable) brand standards
  • Approve final asset for publication

Collaborate with Sales and Practice Portfolio Teams to Support Pipeline Growth

  • Align marketing activities with sales priorities and pipeline goals
  • Share campaign insights and leads with sales teams
  • Support joint go-to-market initiatives and events
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Essential:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years’ experience working in technology sector marketing (ideally B2B)
  • Proven track record developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns
  • Experience building strong relationships with stakeholders in functions such as sales, marketing, and product management

Desirable:

  • Experience managing vendor partners and funding programmes (e.g., Microsoft MDF)
  • Channel or alliance management experience, ideally with Microsoft, AWS, or Google
