Overview

Do you have a passion for languages and inspiring students to communicate in a globalised world? Veritas Education is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic MFL Teacher to join a vibrant school in Kirklees, specialising in teaching French, Spanish, or other modern languages.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging MFL lessons for KS3 and KS4 students, potentially including KS5.
• Teach a dynamic curriculum, focusing on grammar, vocabulary, and conversational skills in your specialist language(s).
• Foster a love for languages and intercultural understanding in your students.
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level MFL exams, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Stay up to date with modern teaching methods and language learning technology.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in one or more Modern Foreign Languages (French, Spanish, or other languages), with experience teaching at the secondary level.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for language education and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
