About Unity Academy Blackpool

Unity Academy is an all through school for children aged 2-16. We are an inclusive academy committed to providing the best possible education for all the children within our care. Our curriculum ensures progression across all ages with systems and processes designed to work for children throughout the school. Responsibilities

• Lead MFL (Modern Foreign Languages) across the academy in line with the curriculum and school improvement priorities.
• Collaborate with curriculum leaders to develop and implement high-quality teaching and learning experiences for MFL learners.
• Monitor and support student progress in MFL, using assessment data to inform teaching strategies.
• Contribute to the development of an inclusive and ambitious MFL provision for all pupils.
• Engage in professional development and share best practice with colleagues.

Qualifications and experience

• Qualified teacher with relevant MFL specialism and experience in leading subject development.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop others to raise standards.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of learners.
