Where will you be working?

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We're problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

This role will be within our Demand management and network infrastructure team. We look after 60 million meters and our teams provide advanced metering solutions to help manage demand for essential suppliers.

What will you be doing
  • Safely excavate up to a depth of 1.5 meters installing water meters to live water service pipes.
  • Handle the backfill and reinstatement of excavation in all surface types and maintain clean and safe work sites.
  • Operate Plant, Machine and Tooling and carry out risk assessments and setup sites to ensure NRSWA guidelines are delivered.
  • Inspect all work and equipment for any defects.
What you'll bring
  • Have you gained Water hygiene card, Water SHEA or CSCS?
  • Do you hold a Streetworks Operative Qualification?
  • Do you hold a full Driving License?
  • Are you qualified in Emergency First Aid, Abrasive Wheels, Manual Handling?
  • Due to the nature of the role you'll be required to work outdoors in all weathers and be required to walk and stand on uneven ground
