Job Summary

Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioners will guide, support and supervise individual Mental Health and Wellbeing Workers and/or Peer Workers. Working closely with the Service Manager, you will help deliver excellent service characterised by choice, compassion and flexible support. Your passion for person‑centred work with adults from a variety of backgrounds will enable you to make a positive impact on people’s lives and tailor support to help them fulfil their best potential.

Core Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance, support and supervision to Mental Health and Wellbeing Workers and/or Peer Workers.
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager to ensure consistent, high‑quality service delivery.
  • Advocate for individuals’ needs and help them progress toward self‑identified goals, promoting independence and empowerment.
  • Address issues of loneliness, social exclusion and other challenges by fostering a supportive environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Valid driving licence; access to a car is essential.
  • Strong interest in supporting adults from diverse backgrounds and a commitment to helping others.
  • Excellent communication skills and a person‑centred approach.
  • Experience in mental health and wellbeing settings is preferred but not mandatory.
