Cygnet has been providing a national network of high-quality specialist mental health services for more than 30 years.

We are recruiting full-time Support Workers for Cygnet Hospital Beckton, which offers a range of secure mental health services for women across four specialist wards.

We currently have vacancies on:

  • Hooper Ward – Acute Service for Women
  • Svanna Ward – PICU Service for Women
  • Upping Ward – Personality Disorder Intensive Support Service for Women

As an active member of our dynamic team, you’ll provide support for our nursing staff, including the admission, assessment, implementation, and discharge of inpatients, with a focus on dignity and safety at all times.

We are ideally looking for people with previous inpatient mental health experience in a challenging and/or an acute setting. You will receive full training and induction into the role. The role involves working an average of 38.5 hours per week, covering 11-hour shifts on a rota basis, which may include a mixture of day (7.30-20.00) and night (19.30-08.00) shifts.
