Location: Leicestershire. Salary: £26,000 – £35,000 per annum. Service Type: Residential care for children and young people with mental health needs.

We’re recruiting Mental Health Support Workers for a highly regarded residential service in Leicestershire, dedicated to supporting children and young people with a range of emotional and mental health needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive impact in a nurturing, professional, and person-centred environment.
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting young people aged 8–18 to build confidence, develop life skills, and move toward greater independence.
You’ll be responsible for :
Providing consistent emotional and practical support on a day-to-day basis.
Supporting care plans and working closely with the wider team and clinical specialists.
Encouraging positive routines, education, and community engagement.
Promoting a safe, structured, and empowering environment for those in your care.
Maintaining accurate records and being an active part of the team committed to outstanding outcomes.
Experience within children’s residential care or mental health support is desirable, though full training can be provided.
Empathetic, patient, and resilient, with excellent communication skills.
Able to work effectively as part of a team, handling sensitive situations with professionalism.
Flexible to work a rota including day and / or night shifts.
Salary: £26,000 – £35,000 DOE.
