A prominent healthcare organization is looking for a medical secretary to support administration within the Trauma & Orthopaedic department. This role requires excellent organizational and time management skills, with opportunities to grow in a positive team environment. We are looking for a current or aspiring medical secretary. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in secretarial work, and/or to gain further experience in the Trauma & Orthopaedic specialities. The post holder will support the administration service predominantly within the Trauma & Orthopaedic Administration Hub, with the flexibility to cover across the hub where required. The post holder will be responsible for running a safe and quality administration service that supports the medical and nursing staff, and to work as part of the Administration Hub to provide a comprehensive administrative service to the clinical workforce. The role supports the Team Leader and Admin Manager in the day-to-day running of a specialty administration team.
This role requires excellent organisational skills, time management and prioritisation to manage a busy environment and a variety of tasks that require timely completion while ensuring quality patient care. The ability to work within a team and create a positive working environment is key, as well as being a hardworking and passionate individual who is keen to work within the NHS and adhere to our right care values.
