A well-respected medical practice in Wembley is looking for a Medical Receptionist to assist in managing patient interactions and provide vital administrative support. The role includes greeting patients, handling appointments, and general office tasks while ensuring a welcoming environment. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and relevant qualifications. This position contributes to the smooth running of the practice and requires teamwork in a busy healthcare environment.
To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of administration duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include but are not limited to, scanning and processing of documents, processing and filtering medical reports and letters via DOCMAN; some reception duties including greeting and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, processing of information and assisting patients as required.
To act as the central point of contact for patients letters, reports and other such documentation and ensuring the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.
As a Medical Receptionist, you will greet patients, manage appointments, handle calls and enquiries, and support the smooth running of the reception area. You will assist with patient registrations, prescription requests, and general administrative tasks while maintaining confidentiality and providing a professional, welcoming service at all times. Additional duties may be required depending on workload and staffing levels.
Working Hours: Monday-Thursday: 10:30am‑6:30pm | Friday: 9:30am‑5:30pm
