A leading healthcare institution in Greater London is seeking a Medical P.A. to support a team of consultants. The role involves managing diaries, processing patient referrals, and handling communications effectively to ensure continuity of care. Ideal candidates will have administrative experience in a healthcare setting, strong communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team. Medical PA role available in the GI & Lymphoma Department, to help support team of consultants in their NHS and Private service. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of an efficient secretarial service to a Consultant team within the Clinical/Medical Unit. He/she will liaise with all colleagues within the multidisciplinary team, and with internal departments and external agencies to ensure the continuity of patient treatment.
The difference between the role of a Medical P.A. and that of a Medical Secretary is the level of responsibility. To undertake a Medical P.A. position, the post holder will need to either:
