Responsibilities

As a Media Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to KS4 students, preparing them for their GCSE qualifications. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and professional duties.
  • Providing general cover across other subjects as required.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Key Stage 4 experience
  • Enhanced Child DBS (or willingness to apply)
  • EWC registration (or willingness to apply)
