A leading water company seeks an experienced Mechanical Technician for their Maintenance team in Wargrave. Your role will involve ensuring efficient operation of all equipment at the site, including performing proactive and reactive maintenance. We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Technician to join our Maintenance team at Wargrave Sewage Treatment Works (STW). As the successful candidate, your role will be to ensure that all equipment at our waste treatment works is running safely and efficiently using proactive and reactive maintenance methods. To assist in keeping such a site running.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to Thames Water's environmental impact, and you will be actively helping to reduce pollution from our sites.
Base Location: Wargrave - RG10 8DJ
Working Pattern 38 Hours Monday- Friday 7:30 am – 3:36 pm plus standby and overtime opportunities, increasing earnings by a potential £8,000-£10,000 per annum upon completion of essential company training.
All PPE, tools, van and fuel card are provided.
You should be a time-served apprentice with significant experience in mechanical systems or with NVQ or C&G level 3 in mechanical engineering.
