Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a pro‑active approach to the role supporting BUK innovation and values.
  • Attend site walks and inspections to define scope requirements.
  • Develop detailed scopes of work for maintenance, shutdowns etc.
  • Ensure scopes align with relevant specifications and site standards.
  • Creation of work packs to allow planning and execution of works.
  • Create RAMS and permits as required for work scopes.
  • Attend internal / external meetings as per business requirements.
  • Ensure scopes align with relevant plans and master schedules.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure alignment on plans and resolve scheduling conflicts or constraints.
  • Generate and manage purchase requisitions of materials, tooling, hire equipment etc based on scheduled dates as required.
  • Provide regular updates to Estimating and Planning Lead on potential risks, and proposed solutions.
  • Identify potential capacity bottlenecks and propose solutions to optimise resource utilisation.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing planning efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Produce site sketches / isometrics as required.
  • Communicate proactively about potential issues or changes that may affect production or delivery.
  • Ensure trackers are up to date and accurate.
  • Track required sub‑cons / materials / third party dates as required using material tracker as an aid.
  • Provide updates as requested.
  • Capture lessons learned from executed scopes for future reference / learning.
  • Contribute to standardisation of scope templates and best practices across site.
  • Feedback any issues to Estimating and Planning Lead.
