Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems, including HVAC, boilers, pumps, and plumbing.
  • Diagnose faults and undertake effective repairs to minimise downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, health & safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure documentation is kept up to date.
  • Collaborate with other engineering and facilities teams to deliver a high standard of service.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Previous experience in a similar role (healthcare or highly regulated environments desirable).
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of statutory compliance and HTM (Health Technical Memoranda) guidelines (preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively under pressure
