Job summary

A leading engineering firm in South Ayrshire is looking for a Maintenance Engineer. In this role, you will perform proactive and reactive electrical maintenance on various plant equipment. The ideal candidate should have a mechanical engineering qualification and experience in fault finding. This is a permanent role offering an excellent package and a 4-day on/4-day off working schedule.

• Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out proactive and reactive electrical maintenance on plant equipment.
• Work with equipment including compressors, fans, conveyors, and motors.
• Perform fault finding and diagnostics on equipment and systems.

The role

Your role will be to carry out proactive and reactive electrical maintenance on plant equipment. Equipment will include hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, compressors, fans, conveyors, motors and PLCs.
