A multi-academy trust in Lancashire is seeking an IT Technician to provide first and second line support within their secondary school in Huyton. This role includes managing the IT helpdesk, maintaining the school network, and working collaboratively with the IT team. Inreturn, you will be paid a competitive salary of between £29,000 and £33,700,which is dependent on experience in both IT and in the education sector, aswell as receiving an attractive benefits package. Inorder to be successful in securing this position, you will possess ITexperience working in a reactive IT support environment, with experience working in the education sector being beneficial. You will have a passion for providing a high level of IT service to end users, as well as an interest inworking in this rewarding education sector. Strong communication andrelationship building skills are also essential, as you will be liaising withteaching staff and pupils, as well as working as a key part of the widercentral IT team. As this role requires occasional travel where advance noticewill be provided, you must also have your own UK driving licence.
