The Opportunity

We’re looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our expert team. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing heating and air-conditioning systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on heating (steam) and air-conditioning systems.
  • Maintain evaporative cooling and domestic water systems in line with L8 standards.
  • Diagnose and repair plant faults to ensure continuous operation.
  • Conduct filter and belt changes, pipe repairs, and system upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with CBRE and client teams to deliver exceptional service.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Training
  • Level 3 qualification in mechanical services maintenance.
  • Basic computer skills and understanding of building management systems.
  • Health and safety training (desirable).
Experience
  • Hands-on experience with pumps, motors, valves, and cooling towers.
  • Familiarity with health and safety standards in maintenance environments.
  • Experience on client sites and with evaporative cooling systems (desirable).
Skills & Attributes
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Calm under pressure and confident in decision-making.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces.
  • A team player with a commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
