Mechanical Fitter - Permanent

Up to £31,000/annum – 25 + 8 days holiday (plus purchase up to 5 days)

Monday to Friday – early finish Friday, fully on-site

A well established leader in their field and a business who has been providing solutions to the customers for decades are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join them on a permanent basis.

The Person will enjoy solving mechanical problems, disassembling, inspecting and reassembling a variety of products and systems. No specific experience other than mechanical assembly and metrology tools and the ability to read and interpret machine drawings with accurate record keeping and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Take precise measurement readings, replace key components, and accurately reassemble products based on inspection notes.
  • Complete maintenance records and service reports accurately, both on paper and using digital tools.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Qualifications

No specific experience other than mechanical assembly and metrology tools and the ability to read and interpret machine drawings with accurate record keeping and attention to detail.
